Going Public With Your Faith
A recent study conducted by Lifeway Research found that 80 percent of those who attend worship one or more times a month, believe they have a personal responsibility to share their faith, but 61 percent have not told another person about how to become a Christian in the previous 6 months. The upcoming 6 weeks series Going Public with your Faith (GPWYF) focuses on equipping our saints with tools and resources needed for sharing Christ wherever we find ourselves. The lessons encourage us to be more like the ACTS church through the studying, discussing, applying and praying of the Word. It allows us to reflect using summary statements and weekly journals. It fosters followup and fellowship as you develop relationships with your prayer partner and as you share in your Agape groups what God is doing. It provides a number of scriptures, weekly homework assignments and daily devotionals to challenge us to be fruitful and obedient. It walks us through how to create curiosity in unbelievers, how to recognize and walk through open doors and what should be in a gospel presentation. It enables you to practice a gospel presentation with the idea that there isn't just one way to do it. The end results is that we create a culture similar to the early church that multiplies Christ followers as we remain connected to the Vine lifting Him up as we go. *
